 On Saturday 7th August Thredbo will run its annual Top-To-Bottom race. This is Australia's longest downhill race, with over $18,000 in cash and prizes to be won. Entry is open to professional and amatuer skiers and snowboarders. Read more...

 Last winter Perisher produced a record 624,769 cubic metres of man made snow, and that record will easily be eclipsed as they now approach 700,000 cubic metres. Thredbo have also invested in snow making systems across many of their runs. What do you think of the snow making this season? Share your view in the poll on the right hand side.

Perisher Resort have created a high resolution visual tour of the resort, lifts and attractions - for those wanting to get familiar with the facilities before visiting the mountain. Read more... Also available is the "real thing" - FREE Guided Tours are run for intermediate and above skiers and boarders. Guides depart at 10.00am on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays under the Trail Guide sign at mid station of the Perisher Quad Express. |
