Ski Season 2009 is drawing to a close with both Perisher and Thredbo closing after October 4th. Thanks to recent snowfalls you can get in a few last turns before it all ends; Perisher Mountains Pass Prices: 1 Day Adult $69 ($96 with train); Child $38 ($52 with train). Thredbo Basin & Supertrail pass $53 for adults & $30 for Children.

The Man From Snowy River Rodeo is on again this Boxing Day. This annual event has run since 1943, originally in Old Jindabyne and now at the 'John Connors' Jindabyne Sports Ground. This year’s event, starting at 9am, has 15 action packed Rough Riding and Time Event programs including the open bull ride, open saddle bronco and steer wrestling.
