The annual subscription is the defined active membership provision under the Co-operative Societies Act.

2020 was a difficult year for the Club with very limited accommodation income being generated because the Lodge was closed or running at a reduced capacity. The Board has endeavoured to maintain the Club’s cash reserves by minimising non-essential expenditure during the year. The Club, therefore, is still in a very sound financial position.

However, the Board has resolved, due to the uncertainty surrounding our operating conditions in the coming year, to increase the annual subscription for 2021 to $150. It is anticipated that this charge will be reviewed in light of on-going operating costs and accommodation income derived during 2021.

Furthermore, no booking credit vouchers will be issued this year for early payment. Please note that the Board has agreed that the time period for the use of vouchers issued in 2020 will be extended, and that the 2020 vouchers may be tendered as part payment for any accommodation, provided that the accommodation payment is received no later than 31 December 2021.

The 2020 voucher may be used once only. There will be no carry-over amounts.

Any member who has not paid the annual subscription, that is, received by 30 June 2021, will be classed as inactive and will lose booking privileges, including any accommodation that may be taken up after 30 June 2021.

Inactive members will be in jeopardy of having their memberships cancelled.

Updated 16 July 2020:

The Board has developed an Operational Plan for the Lodge during Covid-19.  A newsletter is being emailed to members containing operational changes to bookings and the day to day running of the lodge.

Please ensure you read the Operational Plan Documents and understand your obligations as a guest during your stay to keep yourself and other guests Covid-19 safe.

Bookings will be open from 16 July 2020 for occupation of the Lodge from 5pm on 27 July 2020.  Only online bookings will be accepted.
